I’m sitting on my front porch drinking lemonade out of a mason jar. The birds are chirping, and I’m watching a mama feed her baby birds.
I spend as much time as I can outside because I love fresh air and the sounds and smells of nature. Unless it’s freezing, I’ll spend my morning sipping coffee on the porch, but at the very least, I spend a few minutes doing breathwork and meditating. These things bring me back to baseline and the sense of calm that is ever-present if I just take time to cultivate it.
No social media. No cell phone. No to-do list. Just me and nature.
